Personal
There are four things that define me personally:
1) My faith
2) My wife
3) My family
4) My friends
My friends are chosen wisely because who we associate with not only
affects what others think of us (which is actually quite irrelevant
to me), but it also plays a huge role on who we are as individuals.
If you do not believe me, look at your personality, then at the
personalities of those closest to you...finding any similarities?
My family is...well, my family. Choose them or not, they are family.
My family has made a huge impact on my life in both good and bad ways.
I would have no other faily though...I would not be half the person I
am today without them.
My wife is one of my main driving forces. Most things I do are in
some shape, form, or fashion aimed towards pleasing her. Now this may
be because we are still newlyweds...but I will let you who have been
married far longer than us make your own minds up on that.
My faith...it is NOT a religion. The institution of religious constructs
is what drove me away from my faith in my initial steps of exploration. We,
as a society, have turned our faiths (no just Christian) into ritualistic
"duties". I myself am a Christian. I have explored many faiths, and
met with others who have explored much more than I have, however, I have yet
to find any faith as real to me as Christianity. I could go on for hours on
this topic, but instead i will leave you my email address...contact me if
you would like to discuss anything.

Professional
I am a computer person...plain and simple. My life, professionally,
has almost always been computers. I love to work on them, with them,
program them, whatever. Give me a job with computers and I am happy.
I have been working in the computer field since I was eleven. I
started out doing minor repairs to hardware and software, eventually
starting to write programs. I then moved on to being one of the IT
Professionals in the Madison County School System for two years prior
to moving on to the University of Georgia. I worked as an IT
Professional in the Food Service Department for almost four years.
I loved my job there, but for personal reasons, had to move on...which
brings me to my current job at Franklin College OIT, where I primarily
support the Philosophy Department.
Extracurricular
Let's see...I guess the better question here would be what do I NOT do!
I will try just about anything at least twice. As far as favorites go
though, I would have to say running, soccer, and paintball. I am a very
active person sports-wise. I am either running races, playing in soccer
leagues, or competing in paintball tournaments year-round. I love to
stay active and in shape.
Outside of sports, I like to read at my own leisure, watch movies, eat
(and eat, and eat, and eat...no really, ask my wife), listen to music...
I guess I am the average 20-something guy in that respect.
